culture of Ikorodu
Since 1992
It all began with those visionary young individuals from some clubs such as Congregate Club of Ikorodu, Ajulo – Opin Club of Nigeria, pace Setters Club, Irorun Social Club, Ikorodu just to mention a few, who came up with the idea of forming one big umbrella association for all social clubs and societies in Ikorodu in 1990, they set up their aims and objectives and started by mobilizing other clubs to join in promoting the awareness of the non-political, non-religious social movement in Ikorodu.

IKODASS ARISE
Realizing that trust is a very big deal in leadership, our Executive is poised to tun an open, transparent and accountable administration that is driven with utmost integrity.
We will also embark on concious efforts to reposition IKODASS, our flagship event, the annual Ikorodu Oga Day Celebrations and their activities towards improved participation by all and sundry.
Our executive will carry out a general review and possible overhauling of some programmes and events, with the view to making them more appealing to Ikorodu sons and daughters at home and in Diaspora
As the custodian of Ikorodu’s cultural heritage, our Executive will pursue a vigorous socio-cultural renaissance programme, aimed at stimulating the interests of the youths in their cultural values.
We will introduce Economic Empowerment aimed at uplifting the economic status of our people by enhancing their earning power
